This uncommon title by Amadeo Vives (author of the famous Doña Francisquita, Bohemios, Maruxa) was premiered in 1912 and reflects the new musical tastes at that time and the clear influence of the Viennese operetta.

This new production of Teatro de la Zarzuela is led by Stage director Emilio Sagi and Conductor Cristóbal Soler.

LA GENERALA, opereta in two acts by Amadeo Vives. Libretto by Guillermo Perrín and Miguel de Palacios.
